Spreading Gratitude at Holiday Time

You have probably heard the line already, giving is more rewarding than receiving. It may sound cliche, but in actuality for the human spirit proves true. One of the most basic things to give to someone this holiday season is the gift of gratitude. How often do we tell our loved ones thanks for the most basic things they do for us daily? Or even thanks for the big things they have done for us in the past? Did we ever thank that professor that really went out of their way to help us learn that subject we were having a hard time with? Or that friend that lent their ear till late into the night when we were having a really bad day? Take a second and close your eyes and think about a person that has really been there for you, whether they be a relative, a friend, a peer, a colleague, maybe even a stranger that always gives you a hot coffee every day when you stop at Dunkin Donuts. Does this person put a smile on your face? Think about giving them the gift of gratitude this holiday season, a simple card just saying thanks for being there. Hope you all have a great holiday and a very happy new year. See you in the new semester!
